Most Helpful customers 6 of 7 people found this review help. Not worth it to Ty P. Brown bought this as a gift for my wife with the hope that it was a great little camcorder for the price. It is supposed to 1080p camcorder that can be water. My wife opened the camera and immediately charged the battery to see how well it works. When the battery was charged I put it in the camera and wanted to see what we got for the price. I realized that when I press the "Power" turns on and off instantly, then got it back. I was a little weird, but still in testing this. Then I realized in 1080 that can not be extended to all. So if I wanted to play football, I think my daughter just has to run on the field and follows her around to get 1080p video quality. Then I put it in 720 mode and you can not zoom in and out. Not what I wanted, but maybe I could live with it. I then took a few shots so I could make a game and see the quality, it was horrible! The picture is grainy and horrible pictures I zoomed in, I tried playing with settings and found that it did not help at all. White balance and low light picture quality is not good. I was actually embarrassed to have bought this as a gift for my wife. In terms of sound muffled and I could not make it just over 2 meters away and it was very difficult to hear the playback. It can not help that the microphone is at the top where your fingers rest. I did my fingers on the mic and it makes no difference. What I found with sound (during playback), is that if you zoom in or out or to change or press any button is picked up by the microphone went well, much better than talking. In an attempt to take photos. It was terrible too. All images were blurry and grainy. This camcorder is just bad all over again, I hope it's just a defect and not a product that was put out for people to buy. Just a disappointment for a video camera. Pros: Lightweight, buttons are easy to navigate, waterproof (not tested). Cons: Complete waste of money, muffled sound, not hear anything more than 2 meters away, can not zoom or 1080. 720 is all you can shoot with the zoom function. Waterproof? We bought this VCR for Okanogan for the birthday of my daughter's trip to Hawaii for 16 years. The first day at the beach, they took him to the beautiful underwater fish and coral to see. Despite these instructions, modes and, 15 minutes in the water and the video camera was fried. Water was in each compartment, including the lens.
