Canon's First GPS By Jeff Wright I bought this camera as a replacement for my Canon SD800IS, which I was very interested in getting new GPS capabilities. I also have a professional camera with my Canon 7D, then this camera is more of a family / travel. Overall I am very happy photo quality manuals and resources offered (the degree of control over exposure, aperture, flash level, etc.) have a button to shoot the video is great. However, the battery life is much smaller than my old camera. I get around 200 to 220 pictures (instead of 600 +), some videos, a battery played with the GPS function. Buy an extra battery. For the GPS, it takes about 1-2 minutes for the camera to the satellites once was blocking. I think it's cool to see exactly where you took a picture and it's clean accommodations (wish I had it for a trip to Italy a few years ago). I recommend this camera to anyone looking for a super zoom with GPS Just note the size of a little 'bulky and need to carry an extra battery.
