I have a good eye, and can be very anal to detail in my pictures. I saw this camera to get some bad reviews lately, and I'm really confused by this. I saw a lot of other cameras. some cost more and others less. This was by far the best point and shoot pocket capable of mega-zoom out there, I thought. I read some negative reviews on low heat and blurry pictures from here and from the site of Best Buy. I do not know if a bad batch of cameras out? I had some trouble focusing right out of the box when I first started using the camera, but after inspecting the camera, I noticed a nice big greasy fingerprint on the lens to the right. I'm pretty sure it was not me, but I would not bet my life on it yourself. After cleaning the lens, I had no trouble focusing. The only thing I can say about the development is that, when inside, sometimes you have to step back and use more zoom, a lock for the discussion to get, and sometimes you may need to consume to make a step forward and happens less zoom for the storage of this rare, though. For most of my S9100 focuses quickly and accurately. Low-light shots are from inside and outside large. Auto mode works very well for about 90% of my shots and the rest I use the setting or scene modes, the picture I want to capture. Now I'm not saying every move I make is perfect and clear. As with any digital camera or film. Expect a few bad shots. That's why I always try to take more than once, if possible. The LCD screen is nice. I think if the pictures look good on camera, they made good on my computer. Of course, different machines give different results. On my laptop the pictures look a little dull or boring, but at my desk with a high resolution of the images are genuine, vibrant and pleasing to the eye that I had the camera for almost two weeks and love it. The long zoom is good, but even with image stabilization enabled, you need a steady hand to take clear images in high zoom. Video camera is fine and soft on my PC when using Windows Media Player, but when I tried again the video was quickly crushed. In video mode that can take pictures while recording, which is good. There is no shutter sound when taking a photo, so there is no shutter sound in the video. But you will hear in the video zoom in peacetime. It is very strong, but it is remarkable. The camera starts up quickly and with little delay from shot to shot. I recommend a class 6 or higher memory card. It made a big difference for me in burst mode. The camera can shoot five shots at a rate of 9.5 5 fps, but write times with 4 class were painfully slow, I had a good 90-10 seconds before my next shot. Now I am using a class of 10 and that the time had been reduced to approximately 3 to 4 seconds. A little advice about memory cards. Make sure you look at the time of recording minimum and maximum. Not all classes or six decades are the same. I saw a lot of class 10 cards with a higher write end of the same class 6 cards. I have uploaded many photos so everyone can judge for themselves on quality. I think the best advice I can give is to try a few test shots using various scene modes for which there is objective. That's what I try to do whenever possible. I will take some photos of the same image using different settings. So I see them later on your computer to see what looks best. Some other things I would like to tackle. A complaint I've heard a lot about the S8100 is the battery level was not shown until the required tax division. Now is always displayed in S9100. Another complaint was about the flash location on the S8100, it is in the same place for one, but for me there is enough room behind the flash on my finger. The flash does not appear automatically. There are now emerging.
