Great Buy by BrianH I never write reviews, but depending on them heavily when making a purchase, I will try to help another. I was looking for a higher purpose Xacti camera and was about to trigger when it was released to draw. I could not have any reviews, but a Radio Shack in the city is actually one of these cameras. My son had a baseball tournament this weekend, so I thought I buy it and try it. For $ 200 I was not expecting much and thought I would give it back. I was blown away by the quality as all the others who saw it. There are some pitfalls though. First, you obviously can not buy, plain old flash cards for them. I have tried to class 4, and it was unusable at 1080p. Class 6 works much better but also has a problem. When the filming of a baseball game, I put it on a tripod, and 1080 was fantastic. By turning a football game I do not use a tripod, and I got a worried mess. He can not follow the script of the video when overview to 1080, with the Class 6, Class I have not tried the 10 yet, but everything I read told me that no camera to class 10 from memory. That said, I do not see much difference between the quality of 1080 and 720, except the size of video files that are huge. The setting is perfect 720 on the plate of movement and quality. At 60 fps, you can really slow down the movement of easily controlling a computer with the arrow keys. It 'great for analyzing a golf swing baseball swing and see the point of impact. The battery is the weak point. Buy extra and prepare them. If you get more than an hour of shooting continuously, you're lucky. Finding your flash memory based on user comments on sites like Amazon or NewEgg. DO NOT go to Best Buy and just get something on the shelf. Never buy a Class 6 8 GB stick more, and preferably not more than 4 GB. These bats have many more problems with corruption and that you can spend a lot of money to replace these things reliably 4GB can be found for about $ 20 and get two hours of high quality. Power button can be annoying, and the record button and you can. These are things that will be resolved yet. In short, you can not argue that the quality of this camera is much greater than the cost. It is the best purchase I made in a long time, and I am a very difficult customer to please. I tend to be too detailed and do not write comments so I apologize for that. 66 of 67 people found this review helpful. Dual camera - digital photos (14MP) and video (1080 HD 60i) To QuaziModem that's what Sanyo announces and does the job for both. Take great pictures with 14 megapixels and 1080, 60i format video recording using MPEG4/H.264. It has a 5x optical zoom and an additional 12x digital zoom for video. Is the image stabilizer video / photo just OK, in fact, after it more, I lean more to say not even know it, I was at Radio Shack for $ 199. The one I got is black with a plastic and feels a bit expensive, but I expected. Basically this is a typical household, entry-point / shooting / digital camera and camcorder shares HD video. I am pleasantly surprised by the can do what he surprised, and I'm happy with it. It works as advertised does not expect that high quality. With an 8GB card you get 61 minutes of full HD 1690 or moves 14MP assuming you have one or the other, less if you do both. If you make a lot of video / photos, I suggest a second battery and a card with a higher capacity SD memory card. The battery can be emptied quickly. The SDHC card that I had with this camera is a class brand Gigaware 2 because it everything they had in stock. What a mistake. You definitely need a class 4 SDHC or better for HD video. In addition, little warning is an indoor video terrible, even at high sensitivity setting (a setting to compensate for poor lighting conditions), proper lighting or outdoor HD
